Registration is open to eligible candidates for the academic year 2018-19. Qualification and admission criteria will be based according to the norms of the Govt. of Kerala and the KTU.
The admissions to first year B.Tech course is based on the ranks obtained in the State Entrance Examinations conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examinations. 50% of the total seats will be filled by the CEE.
Management and NRI Seat
The application form can be obtained from the office of Muslim Association College of Engineering (MACE), Venjaramoodu, Trivandrum or from the Head office at 'Nandavanam’ Thiruvananthapuram on payment of Rs. 300/-. Application forms can also be downloaded from the website – www.mace.edu.in. Such applications have to be submitted along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- (Three Hundred Only) drawn in favor of "The Principal, Muslim Association College of Engineering, payable at Thiruvananthapuram". Copies of the following documents, attested by a gazetted officer/head of institution where the student had last studied, are to be submitted along with the application.
Community Certificate and Income Certificate in the case of candidates belonging to the SC/ST, SEBC/OEC categories and those eligible for relaxation of minimum marks required in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry under Management Quota.
Reservation principles will be followed by the Entrance Commissioner in the case of Government Allotment and will be in compliance with the terms of agreement between the Government and the Kerala Self Financing Engineering College Management’s Association (KSFECMA).The Management will have the right to deny admission to any candidate attending the interview, even if otherwise academically eligible. Such reasons will be recorded and made known to the student. Liquidated damages in accordance with the terms of agreement between the Government and the Management Association will be applicable to students who are leaving the college before the completion of the course.
Admission under Management Quota will take into account the Plus Two Marks for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or equivalent and the State Entrance Rank. The selected candidates will be intimated by post/email. However candidates are advised to go through the website / notice board and appear for interview and secure admission on time. The fees and refundable deposit will be as per Government regulations and no donation is accepted. A pass in the higher secondary examination or equivalent, with minimum marks as prescribed by the KTU/Government of Kerala/AICTE is the eligibility criteria. The candidate must also have appeared in the entrance examination conducted by the state government or consortium of self-financing engineering colleges (as applicable at the time of admission) and have secured a position duly endorsed by a competent authority.
